The Brampton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced Thursday the extension of an official partnership with The Food Quotient, a local fast-casual takeout, catering, and meal delivery company located in the heart of Brampton.

The Food Quotient will be the official caterer of the club for the 2024 season, in addition to being the presenting partner of the Honey Badgers training camp which later this month.

“The Food Quotient have been valuable supporters of our team since the very first day we arrived,” said Chris Rodricks, senior director of business operations for the Brampton Honey Badgers. “Their overwhelming support of the community and dedication to serving nutritious and great-tasting food creates a very exciting partnership for our organization.”

As part of this partnership, The Food Quotient will provide meals to Honey Badgers players and staff during training camp and post-game throughout the season.

“This is the second year that The Food Quotient has partnered with the Brampton Honey Badgers, and we couldn't be more proud to fuel Brampton’s first pro basketball team,” said Amisha Moorjani, president and founder of The Food Quotient. “Last season, the staff and the team became our extended family and enjoyed our real food that was made with lots of love and care. This year, we look forward to welcoming the team once again and fuelling them on their way to breaking more records! We also want to let Honey Badgers fans know that they no longer have to settle for greasy, unhealthy, ultra-processed food; The Food Quotient is here to serve real food that is healthy, delicious, AND affordable!“

The Honey Badgers open the 2024 campaign at home against the Niagara River Lions as part of Home Opener Weekend at the CAA Centre. Season tickets, ultimate voucher packages, and single game tickets are available now to witness the best of Canadian professional basketball this summer.
