The Hamilton Honey Badgers had partnered with the Hamilton Wentworth School Boards (HWDSB & HWCDSB) to bring basketball, education, and thousands of students together during our School Day game scheduled for June 3 at FirstOntario Centre. The Honey Badgers were planning a minimum of 20 schools visits to discuss career paths and healthy living to students across the city during the month of May. While COVID-19 has derailed our school visits and the School Day game, we continue to support our schools in their critical mission.

As you know, our community has been hit hard by the impact of COVID-19. We are teaming up with HWDSB and HWCDSB to support their efforts to assist students and families. Hamilton Foundation for Student Success: COVID-19 Relief Fund 
Hamilton Foundation for Student Success established the COVID-19 Relief Fund to continue to ensure that HWDSB students have equal opportunities to stay healthy, learn, grow and succeed during this challenging time. The COVID-19 Relief Fund is focusing on fulfilling the nutritional and technological needs of the HWDSB students who have lost access to in-school nutrition programs and technology.

Equal Opportunities Fund
The Equal Opportunities Fund was established to support economically disadvantaged students in the HWCDSB and assist them in realizing their fullness of humanity of which Our Lord Jesus Christ is the model. The Fund supports the academic, co-curricular and nutritional, needs of students.
