Kyle joined the Honey Badgers during the 2021 season as a Digital Content and Basketball Information intern before joining the staff as an Account Executive. Ahead of the 2023 campaign, his role expanded to Coordinator, Fan Experience, where he held ticket sales responsibilities in addition to overseeing the communications and basketball information departments. Kyle was then promoted to Sr. Coordinator, Ticket Sales and Communications ahead of the 2024 season. Now entering his fifth season with the Honey Badgers as Manager, Communications and Service, his responsibilities include overseeing all digital communications and media relations efforts while servicing season ticket holders, groups, and local businesses throughout the season.
Kyle is also an accomplished hockey referee and baseball umpire, officiating numerous district, provincial, and national tournaments. He has worked three seasons in the Ontario Hockey Association (Junior A, B, C and Senior AAA) in addition to one season in the Intercounty Baseball League. At just age 18, Kyle was selected as one of 12 umpires across Canada to take part in the 2019 Little League Canadian Championships in Ancaster, ON.
The Stoney Creek native is a proud graduate of Niagara College, where he completed his Advanced Diploma in Sport Management with honours. While at Niagara College, Kyle worked in various capacities with junior hockey clubs in the area including the Thorold Blackhawks, Stoney Creek Generals, and the Stoney Creek Junior Sabres. Kyle remains involved with hosting the Stoney Creek Sabres Showcase events, an annual showcase of female elite hockey talent for U15, U18, and U22 age groups.
