Dear Brampton Honey Badgers Fans, Stakeholders, and Community Partners,
Recently, the Brampton Honey Badgers celebrated its first anniversary of moving to our new home. Brampton, thank you for welcoming the Honey Badgers with open arms and the fullest of support.
This was truly a special year for our organization. We continue to grow and inspire the next generation of basketball youth, while connecting all four corners of our city through sport. We proudly represented the community at hundreds of public outings, including charity events, parades, school visits, sports tournaments, business promotions, City of Brampton and Brampton Board of Trade events, and more.
There have been some very special moments over this past year that will pave the way for the future of pro basketball in our city. More than 3,500+ students attended the Honey Badgers Inaugural School Day Game, a nationally televised contest against cross-town rivals from Scarborough on TSN, launching our We Are Brampton city brand, and the thousands of cheerful and dedicated Bramptonions in the arena at every home game are just a few of the special moments our organization will cherish for a long time.
As 2023 comes to a close, myself and the entire Honey Badgers organization cannot wait to see what is in store in the coming year. The 2024 CEBL schedule will be launched in January, setting the stage for an exciting second season in Brampton.
We will continue to do everything in our power to succeed on and off of the court, with a commitment to “supporting local” across Brampton through our recently-launched “B-1st” campaign.
On behalf of the Brampton Honey Badgers, we would like to wish you a safe and joyful holiday season and a Happy New Year.
We Are Brampton.
Best Regards,
Michael Cvitkovic
President
