-Chose UBC over 23 other universities that recruited him.

-Graduate of River East Collegiate (Winnipeg).

-Averaged 39 points, 17 rebounds, and seven blocks per game over his senior season with the Kodiaks.

-Led the Kodiaks to a third-place finish at the Winnipeg High School Championship.

-Scored a career game-high 69 points in his senior season.
